Colorado State 4-H Conference

Next month will mark the the Colorado State 4-H Conference on June 21st through the 24th at Colorado State University. This year’s theme is Waves of Change — Oceans of Opportunities. These events bring the brightest and the best 4-Hers from across the state. Colorado 4-H Foundation Executive Director Gary Small shares more details
Small: “Our state 4-H conference is coming up the third week of June. That is always a big event for all the kids in Colorado. It is where the kids 14 to 18 come to compete in the different judging contests. We have livestock, horse judging, horse bowl, family consumer science bowl — lots of contests. Plus key note speakers and educational workshops. It is always a great opportunity for the youth to come to campus and experience life on CSU campus first-hand by staying in the dorms and eating in the cafeterias and then also getting some excellent education opportunities.”
The two keynote speakers this year are Kent Juilan and Dr. Singh. Julian’s leadership background with students is extensive He is personally committed to walk his talk and show up and shine in the way he lives, works, and leads. Dr Sing graduated from medical school at the age of 24 and has taught thousands of individuals how to harness their passion and purpose to maximize their productivity.
