Be a Digi-Star Champion Contest Winner

Attention 4-H and FFA youth and parents. Does your family need a portable digital scale system for your livestock project? Well Digi-Star during the month of May is having their fourth annual Champion Contest from now until May 31st at midnight. Robin Starkenburg Digi-Star’s Marketing and Communication Manager shares how any livestock showing youth can enter the social media contest
Starkenburg: “Really the big thing they need to have is a photo of a youth with their livestock project for 2016. They need to go to the Digi-Star Facebook page. There is the tab that says Champion Contest. They go to that tab and upload the photo and then they encourage everyone they know to vote for their photo because the photo with the most votes wins the scale system.”
The photo that receives the most likes will win their choice of two of Digi-Star portable scale systems as Starkenburg explains
Starkenburg: “It allows them to choose whether they want a Digi-Star Stockway Alleyway Scale or if they want a Stockway Wrangler Jr. which is a smaller size scale — ideal for hogs and sheep. The Alleyway can be used for all of those things but is long enough to put a steer or heifer. Both scales will hold up to 3300 pounds so will handle any of your livestock projects.”
