I'm Tom Allen with the Market Line Report. The grain market is showing volatility. We go to Virginia McGathey from the floor of the CME, to give us some insight on the global market. McGathey- "If the rains continue we are going to see global stock swell to record levels. Wheat is up a couple of cents. There is concern about flood damage from the storm that walloping the US. There is a little bit of an uptick, perhaps wheat has been oversold. "Chicago March Wheat ended yesterday up 1, at 468 3/4. March corn ended yesterday dn 3 ¾ at 3-61. Portland prices for soft white wheat for Jan, were up slightly, ranging from 4-66 to 5-30. Hard Red Winter wheat with 11 ½ % protein, prices for Dec. were steady to up , ranging from 5-46 to 5-66. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices gained a little, ranging from 6-02 to 6-32. Dec. live cattle closed yesterday dn $.10 at, 131.00. Jan. Feeder cattle were dn $.32 at 163.15 Jan. class III milk was dn 2 cents, at 14-46.
