Idaho Range Livestock Symposium

Idaho Range Livestock Symposium

Don't miss this one-day traveling program packed with information on industry relevant topics for producers and land managers. The day-long symposium repeats at three locations across southern Idaho to serve a broad audience — April 7th through the 9th. At each location, a local rancher will share their perspectives and provide an overview of their operation. Then on April 10th there will be a tour in the Treasure Valley.
Performix Nutrition Systems Animal Nutritional Consultant Dr. Boone Carter shares some of the positive outcomes for ranchers who attend
Carter: “The reason that Perfomix is supporting the University of Idaho’s efforts to create this Range Livestock Symposium is because it is a great opportunity for ranchers to build positive relationships with federal agencies, state agencies and just other ranchers and people interested in range stewardship. Additionally they are going to learn how to better manage their rangeland resources. Having that knowledge and then being able to cooperate with the federal agencies in a positive way will have a long-term a positive impact on how public lands are managed in the West.”
