When it comes to beef, it appears that everyone wants the same thing on the consumer side. This year's National Cattlemen's Beef Association's Cattlemen's College will take place February 3rd and 4th during the 2014 Cattle Industry Convention and NCBA Trade Show in Nashville, Tennessee. During the program - cattlemen and women will have the opportunity to hear from Dr. Molly McAdams - Co-Founder at Om3 - on what consumers are saying about beef. " I would say that the topic that most common founds cattleman is talk about the consumer so I am going to try to bring some perspective into some of the trends we are seeing in meats, especially some of the ones that seem a little more niche but definitely concern main stream cattle producers in terms of whether they will actually gain steam and create any efficiency for the cattle industry."

McAdams says different consumers say different things about beef - so she says producers should focus on consumer satisfaction and the value of their product. "The value equation changes for different people. All of us can relate to the fact that when we are purchasing consumer goods our needs or our wants are different from our neighbors. Depending on the consumer, they want a lot of different things but ultimately they all want a great value for their money and they all want a fabulous eating experience."
