Anything not still useful with the letters, CIDE on the end as in fungicide, pesticide, insecticide can be disposed of through the Idaho State Department of Agriculture.

The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is collecting unusable pesticides today through Thursday. Agricultural producers, dealers, professional applicators and homeowners who are storing unusable pesticides will have a safe, legal and free opportunity to dispose of them in the next few days when the Idaho State Department of Agriculture conducts two different unusable pesticide collections. Here's Victor Mason with ISDA: Idaho State Department of Agriculture conducts two different unusable pesticide collections. Participation is free for the first 1,000 pounds of unusable pesticides per participant. Pesticides include – herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, rodenticides or anything with a "cide" at the end and should be brought to the closest collection site between the hours of 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. on the date and location listed below. This pesticide program has been amazingly effective at eliminating unusable pesticides. Since the program started in 1993 the Idaho state Department of Agriculture has been able to safely collect and dispose of over 1.3 million pounds of unusable pesticides. These pesticides are over packed by certified individuals, shipped according to EPA rules, and sent to EPA certified incinerators in either Texas or Utah where they are burned up.
