9-2 IAT Legals

I recently did a story where I quoted directly from the Idaho Statesman: "U.S. Rep. Raul Labrador said that 90 percent of the approximately 8,300 people on dairy farms' payrolls are illegal immigrants. I got a very hot response in the form of an e-mail. "I was recently listening to one of your programs in which you talked about illegal workers in the dairy industry. I was so disgusted with your  story that i had to write you. I need to point out to you that there is a law that says illegals in this country cannot be employed. It is a binding law, the same as any other that is on the books. It must be held to, or those violating it must be punished. I always here you whiners say that you need these workers to stay in business. That is a load of you know what. My family has a farm, and use proper programs to hire hispanic workers. And business is still good even with these legal migrants. You people that advocate for illegals are selfish and greedy. You care about you own bottom line more than about following the law. Let me stress again, it is illegal by law to hire illegal people to work, regardless of the selfish interests of the greedy dairies and other farms who employ them."
