4-8 SS Fly Fest

 Got a movie that you have to see.

 When it comes to movies, Hollywood hype and glitzy movie stars come to mind. But flyfishing correspondent Josh Mills tells us wait a minute. “I want to talk to you guys about a movie that I want you to check out. There is a film fest that is going around the country right now and it seems like it has hundreds of stops in the US and Canada but it is the I F four which is the International Flyfishing Film tour.There is some amazing work coming from the best cinematographers and videographers in fishing and fly fishing. Especially one done by a friend of mine named Ian Majassic of Destination Studios. It  tells the story called the Last Salmon Forest and it is about the Tongass National Forest up in Southeast Alaska that is under threat of logging and mineral development. However it contains a massive pile of bio-mass that would be threatened in terms of salmon. the website  you want see if they are coming to your town is flyfilmfest.com. I think you can look at the trailers for the majority of their films. I know on April 6 they are going to be in Couer d’Alene and then I believe April 19 up in Sand Point.
