 Pheasants Forever Celebrates with 30 Million Specially Marked Rounds

Pheasants Forever and its conservation partner Federal Premium® Ammunition are proud to announce more than 30 million shotgun shells, which come in specially marked boxes, have been produced in support of the national wildlife habitat conservation organization. Here’s Reha Nana, spokesperson for Pheasants Forever: “The on-box royalty partnership began in 1998 with Federal Premium's Pheasants Forever-labeled Wing-Shok® shotshell boxes, evolved in 2010 with the revolutionary Prairie Storm™ specialty pheasant load and continued last year with the introduction of Prairie Storm™ FS Steel®. A portion of the proceeds from each Pheasants Forever logoed box sold goes directly to the conservation group's wildlife habitat efforts, which help pheasant populations and pheasant hunters. In the first 10 years of the on-box royalty program, Federal produced 15 million pheasant loads. In less than four years since that milestone, Federal produced 15 million more of the specialty shells. Pheasants Forever, including its quail conservation division, Quail Forever, is the nation's largest nonprofit organization dedicated to upland habitat conservation. Pheasants Forever and Quail Forever have more than 130,000 members and 700 local chapters across the United States and Canada. Chapters are empowered to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds are spent, the only national conservation organization that operates through this truly grassroots structure.”
