Its proprietary fish attraction device, The EChip, replicates in lures the electrical nerve discharge of bait.  Here is Dick’s story: “.I am  an engineer, I was with a big corporation but I was always enthused about salmon. I fished for them a lot and salmon fishing traditionally has been excellent off the coast of California. Did a lot of ocean fishing and then some development of products and then I did some research in the 1980s. I developed one of the 1st underwater cameras that you can film fish behavior. Of course now they are a dime a dozen. This was a  $50,000 camera and I did a lot of research in the Pacific Ocean, Puget Sound, Alaska. I was observing the way that salmon hit lures and baits. We ended up making 2 movies out of that and I wrote 3 books. I have been hooked on salmon pretty much my whole life and spent a lot of years working on the state advisory committee on salmon in California. There are a lot of debates and wars on the larger salmon in terms of keeping them productive so I have been involved in salmon for 20 years.
