According to the website GreenBiz.com you should be able to gage their shade of green by how they stack up against the top ten green trends. Due to time restraints I'll give you but a few. The first top tend isn't about the "O' it is about the ZERO. Zero-carbon, zero-waste zero-emmisions, all familiar terms for companies going public about their environmental commitments. Another trend is towards E-waste, which basically translates into how the high-tech industry uses energy and disposes of out dated devises. Also making the top ten list is the transportation sector. Cruise ships, airlines trains and trucking companies are working and marketing that they are reducing their environmental impact. A key trend for investment and banking companies is to dump dirty investments and bank instead on clean energy . Finally if you are fed up with companies telling you how green they when they aren't, you've been "greenwashed" the new word for consumers skepticism.
