While billionaires like Mark Cuban opt to make a buffoon out of themselves dancing with stars and invest millions to degrade our American troops in a fictional movie, others like Bill Gates take the high road using his fortune to help the world's poor. The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is instrumental in fighting poverty and disease that go hand to hand in third world countries and it seems they never tire of giving. The Gates Foundations latest was $13 million to provide the world's first low cost water tests. The safe water kit called Aquatest was so easy to produce yet had not been created because sadly there simply wasn't a market for it in developed countries. Working like a hot tub water test one can tell instantly by the colored bands not only if the water is safe for adults to drink but also for children.1.5 million children die each year from dirty water while more than 1 billion people lack access to safe water. Thank you again Bill and Melinda Gates. Isn't it fascinating how masses of money can bring out the best or the worst in an individual.
