Something's fishy given the fact that that we haven't heard much about latest fish before people scandal. In another case of a "feral" federal judge, judge Oliver Wanger imposed massive limits on the San Joaquin Sacramento River Delta water because smelt are purported threatened. There is no evidence that merely limiting water on the pumping system will save smelt who are vulnerable to a variety of foes The loss of water does mean 750,000 acres of prime farm will be jeopardized along with the states water supply to the much of California. Fish Greenies with groups like Earth Justice, are gleefully wiggling like a worm on a bobber over the judges ruling but it remains to be seen if the rest of California's mega environmental community will stand by their smelt and watch their prized organic oasis's dry up.
