U of W football players are now required to drink chocolate milk after every practice. Trainers are implementing the milk over the traditional sports drinks because recent studies in nutritional journals concluded that milk, especially when consumed right after a heavy workout helps exercisers burn more fat and build muscle. Three groups of young men 18-30 years of age were took part in this research and after rigorous workouts the participants drank two cups of skim milk or a soy beverage or sports drink , all with the same equilivant amount of energy. In the end the scientists were stunned that milk drinkers had a much larger loss of fat mass and added 2-3 pounds more muscle than those that drank soy or sports drinks It will remain to be seen if this added muscle will be enough to take the Huskies to play offs . Should they have a winning season it could be a little sticky if coach Willingham gets doused with chocolate milk . I always thought kitties loved milk seems natural that the Cougs would have been the first to serve it at their practice. Guess this "nutritional" win goes to the DAWGS .
