Limitless dreams and a faultless companion, I'm Jeff Keane and I'll beback in a minute. Little girls and horses seem to be a common equation, for one little girl and her stuffed pony companion one chocolate chip would forever change their lives and the show history of the American Quarter Horse, here's Becky with the story on this sweet success. Receiving her first horse a stuffed pony by the name of Cuddles, Ann Meyers was still too young for a real horse of her own. But that didn't keep her and her new best friend from dreaming. Building a ranch of many breeds on their private bedroom estate Ann and Cuddles began to envision their horse future. Christmas of her seventh year would find the pair riding high with the gift of a horse, and trading up just 3 years later for their first American Quarter Horse. That sounds like a pretty sweet deal. This morsel was Ann and Cuddle's first taste of the breed a sweet tooth they wouldn't be able to shake. After purchasing their own ranch Ann, her husband Phil and Cuddles began breeding their dream. In 1985 the sweetest bay colt was born, and to represent his irresistible confirmation and mind was aptly named Zips Chocolate Chip. This treat of a horse filled all of their wildest dreams, with records so impressive that he was inducted into NSBA's Hall of Fame in two divisions, as a show horse and sire, the first horse to receive such an honor. Sometimes a unique name and a unique horse can't do anything but achieve greatness, I'm Jeff Keane.
