05/21/07 Life perceptions

Life is all a matter of perception, I'm Jeff Keane and I'll be right back to clarify. Depending on where you sit in life, your sense of the world could change drastically. Here's Becky with her view from the back of her horse. While not the most likely place to spend your life, I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else. The view from my saddle always brings new clarity to even the roughest storms in life. With the world spinning so fast these days, throwing manure from my stall every morning has a way of centering my whole day. Maybe that's your own special form of aroma therapy? Yeah I guess you could say that. What ever your call it, I know I need horses to function at least somewhat normally. Whenever things seem impassable, I try to handle the problems of life like a sensitive horse. Firm but Fare. Trying the lightest possible approach to get my point across but being as tough as necessary to get the job done. Always, staying open minded to new ideas while remaining confident in my tried and true solutions. If only life were a horse I think I could better understand the whole process, and no one would look at me strange for dirty pants, jingling spurs, calloused hands or the always present stray piece of hay in my hair. Well Becky I'd have to agree the view from the horse does find life a little clearer to cope with although, for me it often means I'm headed out to work, but you know there's a lot worse work, I'm Jeff Keane.
