**The USDA has $35 million for partnerships to respond to the threat of feral swine to American agriculture.

This partnership is part of a broader $105 million investment for the USDA’s Feral Swine Eradication and Control Pilot Program.

Partners are invited to apply for feral swine eradication and control projects in 14 states, including Alabama, Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas.

**Minnesota Senator Amy Klobuchar says she’s committed to working with Senate Ag Chair John Boozman to advance a new Farm Bill, after the committee failed to move the legislation forward.

Klobuchar, the committee’s ranking Democrat, continues to push for a TWO-year delay in a requirement that states and counties share more of the SNAP costs.

She says the ONE-year delay offered in the bill does not put states on equal footing.

**USDA is giving farmers more time to apply for Supplemental Disaster Relief Program assistance covering qualifying losses from 2023 and 24.

The Farm Service Agency has extended the deadline for both Stage 1 and Stage 2 applications to September 30th.

USDA is allowing producers who experienced quality-related discounts to use verifiable documentation to demonstrate losses from natural disasters.

FSA Administrator Bill Beam says this should help more eligible farmers access assistance.
