Fiona Ma Named Champion of Ag and Bipartisan Support for Farmers
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson with your Agribusiness Update.**In recognition of her long record of advocacy for California farmers, ranchers and rural communities, the California Farm Bureau presented California State Treasurer Fiona Ma with the Champion of Agriculture Award at last week’s annual legislative action day.
Nicknamed “The Urban Cowgirl,” Ma is a founder of the San Francisco Farm Bureau and serves as its adviser.
Throughout her career, Ma has backed policies that support the Golden State’s diverse farming communities.
