**Florida Ag Commissioner Wilton Simpson and the Florida Forest Service announced that $6.3 million is available to Florida landowners through two cost-share programs.

Florida’s Future Forests Program and the Enhancing Gulf Waters Through Forested Watershed Restoration Program aim to improve forest health and water quality by promoting tree planting and timber stand improvement practices.

Applications will be accepted until March 27.

**It appears the House funding bill will NOT include language allowing year-round access to E15 nationwide.

Instead, Congress appears poised to create a new “Rural Domestic Energy Council” that would develop potential legislative proposals on E15 and other renewable fuels.

Renewable Fuels Association president, Geoff Cooper says we are extremely disappointed that Congress appears to have again failed in adopting a simple fix that would make cleaner, lower-cost American-made E15 available all year long.

**The USDA is awarding more than $11 million in grant funding to support dairy businesses and producers through the Dairy Business Innovation Grant Program.

The initiatives support small and mid-sized dairy businesses in the development, production, marketing, and distribution of dairy products.

USDA Undersecretary, Dudley Hoskins says this funding makes important investments in the domestic dairy industry, furthering USDA’s efforts to ensure Americans have access to affordable, wholesome dairy products.
