**The American Peanut Council has named "Luke" Blaustein as its next president and CEO.

Owen, who was recently announced as the Convenience Distribution Association's new president/CEO.
Blaustein will officially join APC on August 25.
For the past seven years, he has served as a diplomat in the USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service, where he led teams and projects in Central Asia, Arabian Gulf, Taiwan and Washington, D.C.

**Farm Credit System Institutions made more than 150,000 loans to young, beginning, and small U.S. producers in 2024, totaling $33.1 billion, which was more than half of all loans made.

SMALL family farms with income under $350,000 per year make up 85% of all U.S. farms, but just 39% of the total land in farms.
