September Pork and Beef Exports Surge

The latest data from USDA, compiled by the U.S. Meat Export Federation, brings great news for U.S. beef and pork producers! September exports surged, with U.S. beef leading the way in value gains. Beef exports reached nearly 104,000 metric tons, up five percent from last year, with export value jumping six percent to $843.8 million. For the year so far, beef exports have brought in $7.82 billion—up five percent in value, showing strong demand even with a slight volume dip. U.S. pork exports are also on fire, setting the stage for a record-breaking year! September pork exports climbed to 238,000 metric tons, up eight percent, valued at $685 million. Year-to-date, pork exports are at $6.36 billion and growing fast. Markets like Mexico, Central America, Colombia, and the Caribbean are showing incredible demand for U.S. pork, driving these record numbers. It’s a booming year for American beef and pork!
