Ag Leadership Program Pt 2
From the Ag Information Network, this is today’s Fruit Grower Report. If becoming a leader in agriculture is something important to you, registration for the Spring classes of the Ag Leadership Program are coming up in December.ALP graduate, and operations manager at Zirkle Fruit, Viri Acevedo says the class to train leaders of all kinds …
ACEVEDO … “This is intended to cover anyone in ag. From crew leaders, supervisors, anyone who can be or wants to be in a leadership position, a supervisor position, and has the intention to become a good leader, to be able to assist themselves and assist others.”
The size of the six-week course, Acevedo says is limited …
ACEVEDO … “20 in Spanish, 20 in English. We try to not make it bigger than that just so we can feel like we are able to have more time with each of the participants. And I sure felt like, as an attendee, I felt like that was a good enough group, I didn’t feel like all the eyes were on me, but I never felt like I was missed.”
And as we mentioned, registration for the Spring class is
coming up ..
ACEVEDO … “Registrations start in December, this December. So, if anyone is interested and they’re out here listening and they just wanted to and they haven’t had the opportunity, start thinking into it, register, and I look forward to seeing you in 2025.”
