Welcome to Vine to Wine this is your host Linda Moran and as most of you know my new favorite wine is usually the wine that is in my glass at the time. You see I simply do not drink wine that I do not like. Today I want to remind you about some wines from Washington state. The wines from Sheridan Vineyard.
I don't think it is any secret to our listeners on the east coast that I live in Washington wine country. This state truly produces some world class wines and many of them come from grapes grown in the Yakima Valley. One winery from Yakima Valley that I have bragged about before is Sheridan Vineyard. That was when I went crazy about their 2003 Cabernet Franc. We recently pulled out a few wines for a dinner party, one of which was from Sheridan. It was their red blend l'Orage. It was hands down the favorite wine at the table that night and it reminded me of the great structure and well knit complexion of the wines from Sheridan Vineyard. Should you have an opportunity to taste them or even better purchase them for your own cellar. Do not hesitate, do not falter pulling out your credit card. The wines are not available everywhere and the production is small. If you have questions visit their website at Sheridan vineyard dot com I cannot pick just one wine so I can only say Sheridan is my new favorite wine!
Remember to send your wine questions to Linda at vine to wine dot net and thank you for joining me on today's Vine to Wine.
