This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. A weaker dollar combined with increased exports were both driving factors for the Grain Markets last week. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. closed the day Up 7, to finish at 5-72 ½. Dec. Corn was Up 7 ¼, to finish the day at 4-77 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Dec. were Up 2, to settle at 6-43 ½.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch, ranging from 7-00 to 7-40. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Jan. were Unch – Dn 5, ranging 6-95 to 7-25. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Jan. were Up 2, ranging from 6-94 ¾ to 7-09 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Jan. were Up 9 ¾, ranging from 8-09 ½ - 8-19 ½.

Live Cattle for Dec. were Dn $.80, closing at 183.87 ½. Jan. Feeder Cattle were Dn $2.42 ½, to finish the day at 239.75. Dec. Class III milk was Dn $.08, to settle at 17.27.
