WSTFA Annual Metting Pt 2
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson with today’s Fruit Grower Report. The Washington State Tree Fruit Association’s Annual Meeting for 2023 is coming up December 4-5-6.Olsen Brothers’ Marty Olsen says the session will follow this year’s theme, “Deep Roots – New Strategies, Innovative thinking for today’s challenges” …
OLSEN … “The morning session, the goal for that is to really give a high-level view of our industry, to not talk too much about specifics. We’ll talk more into specific topics as we get into the meetings on Tuesday and Wednesday.”
And as the Annual Meeting Chair, Olsen says he’ll kick things off …
OLSEN … “I’ll be opening the meeting with kind of a look back at my families’ farming which is really replicated up and down the different counties of this state, taking a look at, you know, where might we be going into the future which is, you know, kind of playing off the theme.”
To learn more, Olsen says just go to the website …
OLSEN … “ www.wstfa.org there’ll be plenty of information there about the Annual Meeting and it’s in Tri Cities this year at the Three Rivers Convention Center and Toyota Center.”
And don’t forget …
OLSEN … “Monday and Tuesday sessions, there will be pesticide credits available, both in the meeting and at the Toyota Center, at the trade show, which is right there.”
Olsen says the WSTFA Banquet and WAEF Auction will be held on Tuesday evening.
