This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Live Cattle gave back most of the gains from the day before, as Feeders finish the day mixed but overall very solid . Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 12 ¼, to finish at 6-40. Dec. Corn was Dn 6 ¾, to finish the day at 5-00 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 17 ½, to settle at 7-87.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Up 5, ranging from 6-80 to 7-55. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Unch, ranging from 6-85 to 7-35. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 16 ¾, ranging from 8-21 to 8-26. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. was Dn 7 ¼, settling at 9-12 ¼.

Live Cattle for Oct. was Dn $1.32 ½, closing at 180.50. Sept. Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.80, to finish the day at 250.10. Aug. Class III milk was Up $.04 to settle at 17.49.
