This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Friday. The Beef Market continues to impress traders, as Exports trend lower on the 4 week average. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Dn 13, to finish at 6-27. Dec. Corn was Dn 7, to finish the day at 4-93 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Dn 19 ½, to settle at 7-67 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Up 15 – Dn 10, ranging from 6-95 to 7-45. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Oct. were Up 10 -Unch, ranging from 6-95 to 7-35. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Oct. were Dn 19, ranging from 8-02 to 8-07. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Oct. was Dn 14 ¾, settling at 8-97 ½.

Live Cattle for Oct. was Up $.80, closing at 181.30. Sept. Feeder Cattle were Up $1.55, to finish the day at 251.65. Sept. Class III milk was Dn $.34 to settle at 17.19.
