This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Wednesday. The Cattle market was mixed yesterday, Live Cattle continue to run and Feeders pull back slightly. Let’s go to Viriginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. closed the day Up 17, to finish at 6-70 ¾. Dec. Corn was Up 28 ½, to finish the day at 5-34 ½. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for Sept. were Up 12, to settle at 8-27 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Up 05, ranging from 7-00 to 7-70. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for Sept. were Unch – Up 05, ranging from 7-00 to 7-20. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for Sept. were Up 12, ranging from 8-57 ¼ to 8-77 ¼. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for Sept. were Dn ¾, ranging from 9-27 ½ to 9-37 ½.

Live Cattle for Oct. was Up $1.30, closing at 183.55. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Dn $1.25, to finish the day at 248.00. Aug. Class III milk was Up $.49, to settle at 15.80.
