This is Matt Rice with the Ag Information Network and today’s Market Line Report for Monday. Despite mixed trades Friday, the Live Cattle Market finished the month of April $3.32 higher. Let’s go to Oliver Sloup with the CME Group to find out more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day Up 4 ½, to finish at 6-33 ¾. July Corn was Up 3 ½, to finish the day at 5-85. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were Up 11, to settle at 7-76 ¼.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein was Unch – Dn 05, ranging from 7-15 to 7-70. Soft white wheat with 10 ½ % Protein prices for June were Unch- Dn 25, ranging from 7-15 to 7-35. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein prices for July were Up 11, ranging from 8-53 ¾ to 8-58 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were Up 18 ¾, ranging from 8-83 ¾ to 8-93 ¾.

Live Cattle for June was Up $.27 ½, closing at 165.47 ½. Aug. Feeder Cattle were Dn $.85, to finish the day at 230.72 ½. June Class III milk was Dn $.17, to settle at 17.28.
