The code of the west, an unwritten rule book of sorts for newbie's who relocate to our agricultural culture has educated the exurb exodus but has failed miserably to reach the weekend warrior; the bicyclers, hunters, kayakers who leave their paved paradise each weekend to invade ours. Sharing our abundant resources isn't an issue when respect is involved. Yet arrogant disregard for our way of life should not be tolerated. Rancher's should not have to hang no- trespassing signs on every post for protection and privacy and we shouldn't endanger our lives for the sake of someone hobby! I am talking bicyclers! Hauling a gooseneck on a windy highway is harrowing enough, compound blind corners with dumb bicyclers, who make no attempt to utilize the shoulder and it's a recipe for a disaster. Given all the miles of country roads or highways with bike lanes, let's restrict bicyclers from main thoroughfares that lack them. Common sense dictates that I would never ride my horse down the middle of highway, if these peddle pushers lack common sense, it's time to legislate some!
