Potato Expo 2023 Pt 1
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. Folks in the potato industry are making plans, or at least should be, to attend the upcoming Potato Expo, January 4th and 5th in Colorado just outside of Denver.
National Potato Council President Kam Quarles says he can’t wait …
QUARLES … “We’re really excited. As you remember, back in January, we had one of the first in-person events that the agriculture industry has been able to put on was the Potato Expo in Anaheim. Now we’re looking forward to January of 2023, right outside of the Denver airport, the Gaylord Rockies, amazing new facility.”
And like past Potato Expos, Quarles says there will be plenty to do, see and learn …
QUARLES … “It’s a lot of fun and very educational. Hollee’s put together an amazing program and we’re just really excited about what’s going to go on here in a couple of months.”
He’s referring to NPC Vice President Hollee Alexander who says it’s all about bringing the industry together …
ALEXANDER … “That’s right. We’ve been focusing on putting different pieces throughout the program recognizing that’s what people are really there to be able to reconnect and meet up with people. So, offering that opportunity for people to do that is the biggest value.”
And, Alexander says if you register by this Friday, November 4th, there is discount.
