Ag World Golf Classic 2022 Pt 2
From the Ag Information Network, I’m Bob Larson. Generous sponsorship and two fully booked golf courses led to another hugely successful Ag World Golf Classic June 14th and 16th.Given all the challenges for agriculture this year, Ag World President Bryan Henninger says this year’s participation was inspiring …
HENNINGER … “We sold out both courses and so it was packed courses and people enjoyed it. You know, and so we really appreciate everyone that came out because it’s not just the sponsors but it’s the golfers too that really help raise that money for the Ronald McDonald House.”
Henninger says they may be high, but expectations were met …
HENNINGER … “We do aim to raise over $100,000 a year, trying to get to the House. And I actually, at the end of the Moses Lake event, set the goal a little higher for next year because next year is our 10-year anniversary of having the Ag World Golf Classic.”
That goal, Henninger says is lofty …
HENNINGER … “Can we make it to a million dollars over the course of 10-years? And so that means we’re going to need to really up our game to see if we can hit that goal for next year. Can we raise $250,000 next year? It’s a lot of money.”
Next year’s 10th Annual Ag World Golf Classic is scheduled for June 6th at Canyon Lakes in Kennewick and June 8th at Moses Point in Moses Lake, so Henninger says, put it on your calendar.
