With today’s Fruit Grower Report, I’m Bob Larson. The Fifth Annual “Wander Walla Walla” is a great way to enjoy the Number One Wine Region in America in USA Today’s America’s Ten Best, for the second year in a row.

Walla Walla Valley Wine Executive Director, Robert Hansen says you can “Wander” with one of eight itineraries put together by Walla Walla winemakers …

HANSEN … “Select and download the itinerary of your choice, or itineraries of your choice, and pick a weekend and let the winemakers be your recommended guide. Let them take your around town and the valley.”

And, Hansen says they’re easy to find …

HANSEN … “Find it on our website at www.wallawallawine.com/wander, W-A-N-D-E-R, and you’ll find all eight itineraries there to download.”

The feedback, Hansen says has been great …

HANSEN … “Even last year with everything that was going on, we got good feedback and good turnout. Based on a tough year, I think we did better than we thought we would. So, people find them enjoyable. I find them enjoyable and I think they’re worth checking out.”

Hansen says it’s a great getaway weekend …

HANSEN … “People are coming to Walla Walla. It’s a great drive-in market from Spokane, Seattle, Portland, Boise, the Tri-Cities for a day visit. So, it’s and easy-to-get-to location and we have great hotels, and Airbnb’s and VRBO’s and awesome restaurants and fantastic, wine.”

Wander Walla Walla registration is free, and the itineraries are pay-as-you-go experience. Go to www.wallawallawine.com/wander for more.
