This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Thursday. Corn continues to hold strong as traders look for more upward trends in the coming months. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to find out more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for July closed the day up 2 ¾, to finish at 682 ¼. July Corn was up 10 ¾, to close at 690 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for July were up 3 ¼, to settle at 635 ¾.

Portland prices for Club Wheat with 10 ½ % Protein were Unch, ranging from 7-75 to 8-50. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for July was Unch- up 35, ranging from 7-75 to 8-50. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for July were up 3 ¼, ranging from 7-40 ¾ to 7-65 ¾. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for July were dn 07, ranging from 8-59 ¼, to 8-79 ¼.

Live Cattle for Aug were up $.45, closing at 118.27 ½. Aug Feeder cattle were dn $.97 ½, to finish the day at 148.27 ½. July Class III milk was up $.07, to settle at 17.53.
