Syngenta's #RootedinAg Contest Pt 2
I’m Bob Larson. The #RootedinAg Contest is Syngenta’s way of letting you tell the story of that mentor who inspired your life in agriculture and recognize them for their contribution.
Syngenta’s Pam Caraway says just go to www.SyngentaThrive.com/contest and in 200 words or so, tell us what’s so special about that person …
CARAWAY … “No, we’re not looking for an extensive essay and we’re not fussy about the 200 words. Tell your story.”
And after the June 30th deadline, Caraway says they narrow it down …
CARAWAY … “We will judge the entries and there will be three finalists. And those three finalists will be put online for everybody to vote on. And we support and promote people voting on it. We get a good number of voters in and then, from there, we select the Grand Prize winner.”
And, for your efforts …
CARAWAY … “The three finalists will each receive a mini touchscreen tablet with a case and wireless earphones. The Grand Prize winner receives a $500 gift card, plus a professional photo shoot with his or her Ag Mentor.”
But, Caraway says there’s more …
CARAWAY … “Additionally, and this is another way of the Ag story and teaching the hand-up kind of thing that we want to be a part of #RootedInAg, the winner also gets to designate a charity that will receive a $1,000 donation from Syngenta.”
