The race is on, the pace frantic and the competition fierce. Alterative fuel is fueling suspicion, passion, the media and the economy. The hydrogen fuel cell brigade led by body builder, actor, hummer driver and California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger are tickled pink, that studies from scientists at the Agricultural Research Service have come up with methods to use natural occurring products to fuel hydrogen cells, rather then the traditional petroleum. Arnie thinks big when it comes to hydro fuel cells, he envisions a hydrogen highway that connects California to Canada. Out Texas way Willie Nelson, Western singer and champion of small farmers is heavily championing the cause of Biodiesel and has founded his own Biodiesel company that currently supplies Willies chain of truck stops . It's comical to reflect on the polar differences between these two, they certainly are not "two peas in a pod" , but when it gets down to it both share the hope that peas in a pod, or soy, canola, even switch grass will ultimately become the fuel of choice.
