This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Tuesday. Markets were closed yesterday due to Presidents Day, so let’s take a look at Friday’s recap with Virginia McGathey of the CME Group.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day up 3 ¼, to finish at 633 ½. March Corn was dn 2 ¼ to close at 538 ¾. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were up 5 ¾, to settle at 616 ¾.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat were up 10-Unch, ranging from 7-40 to 7-55. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for April was up 10-Unch, ranging from 7-10 to 7-45. Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for April were up 5 ½, ranging from 7-47 ½ to 7-67 ½. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for April were dn 1, ranging from 7-36 to 7-51.

Live Cattle for April were up $2.05, closing at 125.17 ½. March Feeder cattle were up $1.70, to finish the day at 140.85. March Class III milk was dn $.47, at 16.56.
