The Colorado Corn Administrative Committee is in a strategic planning process. It says it would like producers' input.

Executive Director Nick Colglazier says the planning process will continue for the next few months and really can’t be complete without producers weighing in on a survey they’ve created.

Colglazier: “We really want to get feedback from the producers that we serve. We serve all corn producers across the state of Colorado and we want to make sure that we hear from them. We want to make sure that we hear what we are doing right, what are things that we could do differently, what are things that we should focus on that are going to help your operations and help the corn industry here in the state of Colorado as well as nationally. Get out there and make it an opportunity for those producers to have their voice heard on what we are doing and what we could do and we would really appreciate any feedback that our producers can give us as we enter into this strategic planning process so our board knows what our producers are looking for, what our producers think we’re doing well, what they think we could do better and use that information to direct us and guide us so we can look to the future in what we allocate resources to.”

Colglazier says producers may already have the information in their inbox with a link to fill out the survey online. The survey was included in a message about Colorado Corn’s Annual Report. There is also an option to fill out a hard copy of the survey.

The Colorado Corn Administration Committee is also planning for an online listening session next month where producers can give live feedback about the committee’s goals. The online listening session is slated for March 2nd. Colglazier says they hope to have all the surveys returned by March 5th.
