The World Ag Expo kicked off this week - but for the first time ever, it was a virtual experience. Not getting together in person for a farm show certainly has its downsides. One upside, however, is better access for ag technology companies from around the globe.

Grignano… “Definitely the biggest presence we have ever had. We have been to World Ag Expo now for four years, putting together pavilions on the ground, at the show for the last few years, and we've never had 41 exhibitors.”

That’s Salvatore Grignano, marketing and promotion officer for the Italian Trade Agency, which as you just heard, is presenting a record 41 companies at the show. The other benefit to the virtual format is that the show will continue far beyond just this week.

Grignano… “A marketplace will be launched on the ninth, but the show will go on for 12 months. So what we're planning as the Italian Trade Agency, is we're going to create some days where our companies are going to create some content. So we're going to call it demo days. You know, some days where our company is going to come out with more content, with very educational videos. They're going to tell you how to improve your everyday work life.”
