March 21 2006 Al Gores Environmentalism The Washington Post recently called Al Gore, Sundance`s Leading Man for pitching his new movie titled "An Inconvenient Truth" at the film festival that documents Gores efforts to raise alarm about the effects of global warming. In promo speeches Gore advocates that we all must do our part to reduce emissions in our own homes by buying a hybrid car, being a green consumer, and live a carbon-neutral life, yada yada yada & Does it strike any one else as odd that Gore titled his movie an "Inconvenient Truth" when it is obvious that he isn't at all inconvenienced by being green. During his presidential campaign he used private jets to make his sons games, last year he exited a Sierra Club Summit after a rousing speech on global warming, not in a hyprid but a big Cadillac Escalade. The jet fuel he uses to flit on just one round-trip jaunt to Japan or Europe could heat my home and fuel my car for a lifetime.
