Pesticides in the Water

Pesticides were found in Most of our Nations Rivers. Public opinion polls are like puppies you can make them look any way you want with a little manipulation, like a chew bone. But headlines are a different story. They are sensationalized to manipulate perception. Take the latest AP propaganda piece regarding pesticides in our nation's streams stating that most of the nation's rivers, streams and the fish in them are contaminated with pesticides linked to cancer, birth defects and neurological disorders" How many is most, over 52% , 90% ."Farther down in the piece we are told that these pesticides are not at levels that harm humans, so why the fear tactics? Newspapers bank on the fact that most of us, (there's that "most" again) never make it to the end of the newspaper article. If we did we would learn that simply detecting a chemical is not always cause for alarm and that the amounts detected in our rivers and stream fell well below scientifically established levels to protect humans and the environment!
