This is Matt Rice with today’s Market Line Report for Monday. More demand in the grain market as last week ended on a high note for corn and wheat. Let’s go to Virginia McGathey with the CME Group to hear more.

Chicago Soft Red Winter Wheat prices for March closed the day up 12 ¾, to finish at 629 ¾. March Corn up 3 ¾, to close at 447 ¼. Kansas City Hard Red Winter Wheat prices for March. were up 8 ¾, to settle at 588.

Portland prices for Ordinary Club Wheat was Unch, ranging from 6-40 to 6-75. Portland Hard Red Winter Wheat with 11 ½ percent Protein, for March were up 8 ¾, ranging from 7-33 to 7-53. Soft white wheat of Ordinary Protein for March was Unch, ranging from 6-50 to 6-70. DNS wheat with 14 % protein, prices for March were up 8 ½, ranging from 7-05 to 7-15.

Live Cattle for Feb. were up $1.27 ½, closing at 114.72 ½. March Feeder cattle were up $.07 ½, to finish the day at 141.95. Feb. Class III milk was up $.60, at 17.80.
