Colorado Ag officials are reminding folks about tomorrow’s online symposium featuring Governor Polis, Commissioner Kate Greenberg, ag producers, and market experts.

The “Iconic Times for Colorado Agriculture: 2020 Learning and 2021 Futureproofing Symposium” will be live from noon to 1:30 tomorrow, December 3rd.

Business Development Specialist Danielle Trotta says the government leaders and ag experts will lead the conversation about the lessons of the 2020 pandemic and how they plan to take those lessons into 2021.

Trotta: “We have an awesome guest list and we’re going to be covering a lot of interesting topics about how the pandemic has effected food and ag in our state and what we need to look for in the future to diversify or prevent any hardships should this happen again or continue to happen.

We have the invitation in the newsletter, it’s on the department’s website, Facebook page. They can email me directly if they need the link. But you do need to register in order to get the login information.”

Panelists include former Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack, Adam Schlegel, founder of Chook Chicken, Virginia Till of the EPA, CSU Professor and Co-Director of Ag Resource Economics, Dawn Thilmany, and rancher Wil Bledsoe, IV.

The registration is free but you must register to get the link.
