Farm Mazes and Pumpkin Patches

Many Colorado pumpkin patches and corn mazes are hosting guests around the state. But, like everything this year, they’ll look a little different.

A list of Colorado farm mazes and pumpkin patches are posted on the Colorado Proud website

WHITE: “Yes, we do have a list of Colorado corn mazes and pumpkin patches available online. There may be fewer ones listed this year. Some outlets decided not to offer activities this year for obvious reasons. But others have the ability to maintain social distancing and incorporate those safety guidance measures and are opening for families to come and pick pumpkins and experience corn mazes. And we just really encourage everyone if they are interested in visiting a corn maze or a pumpkin patch to contact the farm first to find out about any differences in the activities they may be offering or the hours that may be open or if they have to preregister to come in advance.”

That’s Wendy White, marketing specialist with the Colorado Department of Agriculture.

Farms offering activities will be following recommended COVID-10 protocols, and social distancing guidelines. Sanitation Stations will be available. Visitors should bring a mask as portions of some festivals have indoor elements.

Please check the websites or social media pages to find out about changes in operations. Customers can expect new guidelines in place for social distancing, and a priority placed on public health. Have fun supporting your local producers.
