**A new survey finds online U.S. grocery sales grew 37% as many consumers sought to limit grocery store trips amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to thepacker.com, from March to April, sales grew from $4 billion to $5.3 billion. Most of that stemming from a 33% increase in the number of orders, from 46.9 million to 62.5 million.
While the number of active online grocery customers only grew 1% in April, the average orders per customer grew 32%.
