**Peru grape exports will increase by 5% in 2019-20, according to a new estimate from the USDA.

Thepacker.com reports, in its annual fresh fruit report on Peru, the USDA’s Foreign Ag Service says Peru’s total grape exports will reach 402,000 metric tons, up 5% from last season.

**With the big turkey-eating holiday in our rear-view mirror, the U.S. Department of Agriculture estimated, in the days prior to Thanksgiving, Americans were likely to consume an average of more than 16 pounds of turkey per person.

That's similar to levels of the past decade.

California ranks eighth in the nation in turkey production.

USDA reports wholesale turkey prices up slightly from a year ago, but an annual American Farm Bureau retail-price survey shows turkey prices to be down.

**Speaking of guts, if yours is still filled with Thanksgiving spuds, you’re not alone.

Potatoes rank number one among vegetables in terms of consumption.

In 2017, 49.2 pounds of fresh and processed potatoes per person were available for Americans.

According to agrimarketing.com, tomatoes came in second with both fresh and canned coming in at 28.7 pounds per person.

Onions came in third at 11.3 pounds, followed by head lettuce and romaine.
