At Agri Beef, their Snake River Farms American Wagyu cattle are raised along the high plains of the Snake River in Eastern Idaho. Snake River Farms wagyu bull lease program offers a lot of benefits to ranchers.

Currently they have about 1,500 bulls leased to producers in Idaho, Oregon, Washington, California, Utah, Nevada, Montana, North and South Dakota, Arizona, New Mexico and Wyoming.

Jordan Sparrowk, Agri Beef's Wagyu Marketing Manager says about 100 producers are part of the program.

"We have all of our cattle currently placed into 2019" said Sparrowk. "So, we know what we'll be harvesting into 2019 and 2020. We have to work with sales to manage budgets and the flows. We have reached a peak on where we would like to be. So, we aren't currently signing up anyone else. Not saying we won't talk to ranchers who might be interested and go over the program because who knows in a year there might be an opportunity to continue growing. And we want to have those connections made in case we do have the ability to expand."
