Colorado Corn Round Ups
Colorado Corn Growers Association members are travelling to corn districts around the state to hear from producers.
Colorado Corn Communications Director Kim Reddin says this year's dry weather coupled with political events have brought more stress for growers and that's what they want to talk about.
"In a drought situation that's obviously pretty concerning for producers and of course with low commodity prices, knowing that their yields are going to be affected. Those are two daunting challenges for them. But then you add in the uncertainty of what's going to happen with the farm bill and what's happening with trade, renegotiations with NAFTA as well as the China tariffs situation and they are facing a lot of uncertainties and a lot of things happening all at one time."
