12/02/05 New favorite - Audience favorites

Welcome to Vine to Wine this is your host Linda Moran and today we are not going to talk about my new favorite wine but we are going to talk about yours. Several weeks ago I ask listeners to tell me about their favorite wines and wine experiences. Many of you spoke of wine maker dinners that were very elaborate and special wines were poured as a surprise to the guests. There were those of you that loved California wines such as Mondavi, Silver Oak and Beringer. There were those of you that raved about Australian wines and others about your love for Italian wines. Those of you who love wine from Washington state were almost bragging about your favorite wines. You adored Columbia Crest and Kiona, and Dunham and Seven Hills, and Apex Cellars. Not to mention Betz Family and Cayuse all of which I adore as well. There was a listener who wrote that his personal mission was to find great wine under $10.00. No - He didn't define great. Each story made me smile and as I read I realized that we are all so different and one of the most important aspects of tasting wine is the realization that it is a very subjective topic. I hope that you all keep your minds open and continue to try new wines and appreciate the differences. We have a great big world out there and I hope you experiment and taste wines from everywhere. As they say, so many wines, so little time. Cheers! Remember to send your wine questions to Linda at vine to wine dot net and Thank you for joining me on today's Vine to Wine.
