The Colorado Fruit and Vegetable Growers Association says it's members contribute nearly $300 million to Colorado at the farm gate and that is multiplied as it goes through the distribution chain.

The Association's Marilyn Bay Drake says it has chosen 4 companies to pitch their ideas to bring new technology to the industry to make growers jobs a little easier.

The companies will make their pitches at the annual conference in Denver February 19th and 20th.

More information on the CFVGA conference is available at: https://cfvga.org Conference rates go up after Feb. 5.

Over 60,000 Colorado acres are in fruit and vegetable production.
